BBC Introducing at De Montfort Hall
Engaging with the public in providing outdoor music events we were proud to support De Montfort and BBC Introducing in bringing this series of events to life by supplying and installing our awesome queuing system, flooring and dressing the bar tent!!
De Montfort Hall engaged with us to help deliver the BBC Introducing outdoor music event called Gig in the Gardens. It featured a lineup of Bugzy Malone, Busted, Scouting for Girls, The Twang, The Vaccines, Pete Tong and Kaiser Chiefs.
The Project.
Our brief was initially to create a site plan. From there it became a queuing system for the bar tent… then flooring was added to protect the grounds and styling to help make the tent a lovely environment for queuing guests. Easy for us!
A perfect garden setting
As well as providing event dressing expertise, Simon, our Director, was tasked with producing an overall event site plan which involved incorporating and standardising 5 different existing plans each with differing scales. No worries. Job done!
The Vision.
We styled, dressed and kitted out the bar tent with a bespoke queuing system, durable flooring to protect the grass and provide guests with comfort underfoot, hand picked decorative planting and unique garden ornaments in keeping with the grand nature of the garden setting.
Our Solution.
Having never worked in this space it was in at the deep end but it proved to be no problem working with the on site De Montfort team, setup crew and the fantastic Health & Safety team at Harrier!
